Emanuel presents to a PDC group about Testigo’s permaculture project!

April 29, 2013

La Chica is thrilled that Emanuel,  Testigo’s Tanzania Country Manager, was asked to present at a two week Swahili Permaculture Design Certification course held recently in Arusha by the Aussie NGO Food Water Shelter.  Last June Emanuel completed the PDC in English, and since then has led Testigo’s permaculture project in Longido, teaching the Masai women how to grow their own vegetables and harvest rainwater.  He presented for 2 hours to the international group with participants from Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and the Congo, showing them photos of Testigo’s project and discussing both the technical and community involvement aspects.  La Chica watched but didn’t understand a word!
